  3. During your Financial Consultation, we will:
    • Check your insurance
    • Receive your treatment plan from our physician’s medical team
    • Make payment arrangements
  4. The final step is for you to make your travel arrangements to Willingway

From Atlanta

Take I-75 South to Macon. In Macon, take I-16 east towards Savannah. You will take the first Statesboro exit (# 116, Hwy 301) off I-16. When coming into Statesboro, you will turn right at the intersection of Hwy 301 and the US Hwy 301 Bypass / Veterans Memorial Parkway. This intersection has a Texaco gas station with a Subway on your left, a church on your right and another gas station on the north right hand corner. Turn RIGHT onto the bypass. You will pass four traffic lights. At the fifth light, you will see an IHOP and Lowe’s Home Improvement on your right. Go STRAIGHT through this light. You will turn LEFT onto Jones Mill Road at the next intersection with no light.

Willingway will be on your right. If you are coming for a family visit, use the first entrance and the family entrance is the small parking lot to the left of the live oak tree with bench below. If you are coming for an admission or an assessment, use the second entrance and ring the doorbell under the covered walkway.

From Savannah

Take I-16 west, towards Macon, to Exit 127, Hwy 67. When coming into Statesboro, turn RIGHT at the second traffic light onto US Hwy 301 by-pass / Veterans Memorial Parkway. You will travel about 2 miles around a large curve. At the second traffic light, you will see an IHOP and Lowe’s Home Improvement on your right. Go STRAIGHT through this light. You will turn LEFT onto Jones Mill Road at the next intersection with no light.

Willingway will be on your right. If you are coming for a family visit, use the first entrance and the family entrance is the small parking lot to the left of the live oak tree with bench below. If you are coming for an admission or an assessment, use the second entrance and ring the doorbell under the covered walkway.

From Augusta

Take Hwy 25 South. It will merge with Hwy 80. In Statesboro, follow Hwy 80 (Northside Dr.) through town. At the intersection of Hwy 80 and Lester Road, you will turn LEFT. This intersection has a traffic light, Wachovia Bank, Walgreens,Rite-Aid and an Enmark gas station. Just past the high school, at Mill Run apartments, turn RIGHT. Willingway Hospital will be on the left, just after the nursing home.

From Highway 301 South

What to Bring for Your Stay

What to Bring

We have had 45 years of experience to learn what works and what does not work in a treatment setting. Clients who really want to get their lives back will spend their time in treatment focusing on recovery from their alcohol or drug addiction. Freedom from distractions during this initial period can mean freedom for the rest of a client’s life. Why do we not allow cell phones or computers during rehab? We want clients to focus on themselves. It is a valuable opportunity for clients and families to step back and look at the bigger picture of their relationships without the distraction of day-to-day (or minute-to-minute!) contact. We do encourage letter writing and thoughtful communication during treatment. For your convenience, below is an outline of everything you will need for your stay at Willingway:

  • Casual, conservative clothing for one week (Laundry service provided weekly)
  • Additional clothing for recreational outings
  • Swimsuit – one-piece for females, trunks for males
  • Shower shoes (flip-flops)
  • Comfortable shoes for daily wear, including walking & outside recreational activities
  • iPod, MP3 or CD player (for personal use only, not to be shared with others)
  • Cash or credit card for unexpected personal and/or outside medical needs during treatment
  • 12-step literature (If you don’t have 12-step literature to bring, we will supply for a fee)
  • Insurance cards
  • All current medications in original prescription containers in sufficient quantities for entire length of stay
  • Unopened Toiletries – (shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.) in sufficient quantities for entire length of stay
  • Unopened cartons/packages of cigarettes of choice in sufficient quantities for entire length of stay
  • Sweater/sweatshirt/light jacket or appropriate attire for cold meeting rooms or unexpected changes in the weather

What NOT to Bring

  • No valuable jewelry
  • No books, magazines, hobbies
  • No mouthwash
  • No food
  • No cameras
  • No electronic readers (Kindle, Nook, etc.)
  • No iPads or tablets
  • No personal computers
  • No devices that can text, access Internet, or play games/videos

Dress Code During Your Stay

  • Slacks or neat jeans, Bermuda or walking shorts of reasonable length
  • Blouses and short-sleeve shirts
  • No sleeveless shirts
  • No short shorts or stretch-type shorts
  • No mini-skirts or mini-dresses
  • No halter tops or tank tops
  • Bras and underwear are a must
  • Clothing must not be tightly fitted
  • Shirts must be worn at all times
  • Robes must be worn over sleepwear
  • No sunglasses worn indoors
  • No clothing that advertises alcohol, drugs, or sex
  • Ear piercings are allowed, but other pierced jewelry must be removed prior to admission
