This workshop focuses on defining trauma and examining the section of the DSM-5 on Trauma and Stress-Related Disorders, with some attention to differential diagnosis.
Facilitated by Barbara Melton, M.Ed., who has been in private practice in the Charleston area since 1991.
This workshop will help clinicians understand what constitute “high risk” behaviors and how to effectively assess clients in order to reduce the inconsistency with interventions that can delay therapeutic progress.
Facilitated by Jayson Rodriguez, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and South Carolina who has 15 years of experience working with high risk adolescents and their families.
The training will discuss EMDR Therapy utilized with those suffering with addictive disorders outlining case conceptualization and target sequencing with substance use disorders, eating disorders, self-harm, and love/sex addiction.
The trainer, Lauren Day, is an Advanced Education Institute Trainer who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use disorders, and EMDR Therapy.
