The Men’s Lodge provides the most intensive level of clinical services, structure, and accountability that Willingway’s Extended Treatment program offers males. This peer-driven environment emphasizes daily recovery and allows residents to gradually become productive members of the community. While at The Lodge, patients are enrolled in Willingway’s intensive outpatient program, take part in individual counseling sessions, and attend 12-step meetings daily. The higher level of accountability and structure is supervised by a full-time program manager and an extended treatment aide. Additionally, the house manager and two senior peers who live on the property provide guidance at night and on weekends. Learning about relapse prevention, budgeting skills, sober socialization, time management, and cleanliness, as well as having fun in sobriety and community involvement are some of the areas addressed and encouraged at The Lodge.
Each patient may choose to further develop vocational skills and/or engage in educational opportunities. The men develop accountability by addressing peer concerns for one another, which forms a bond that allows our residents to develop healthy, sober relationships and to learn to live sober, one day at a time. The average length of stay at the Men’s Lodge is one year.
