The Importance of Client Satisfaction

Client Satisfaction

When an individual has made the determination that enough is enough, and they are ready to get the help they need for a substance use disorder, there are many things to consider.

Is the program nationally accredited? Yes, accreditation is important as it demonstrates there is both oversight and standards to which the program must adhere.

Does the facility align with what I believe I need in treatment? We know that being an expert in substance use doesn’t necessarily make someone an expert in recovery. However, here at Willingway, we believe one of the most important metrics to consider is how our clients view and rate the services that we provide. While reviewing statistics can be boring, they are also important when making one of the most critical decisions of an individual’s life.

Below are some of the latest client satisfaction numbers that come directly from our Client Satisfaction Surveys. Based on a 5-point scale, with 5 being extremely satisfied:

  • Do I like the groups? 4.8
  • Do I like my counselor? 4.8
  • Is the staff courteous? 4.8
  • Do I like the food? 4.6

Finally, most reputable programs look at Net Promoter Scores (NPS). This statistic measures the likelihood of a person recommending a friend or loved one to a program, as well as whether they would return if they needed the help. Behavioral health is a service industry that helps those at their worst times in life; hence average scores are typically lower than 50 on a scale up to 100.

Willingway is very proud of our latest NPS score of 97.56%, which is significantly higher than the average score.

Choosing the right program can be a dizzying process. At Willingway, we take our client satisfaction very seriously, as we know that this decision is often lifesaving. For more information about Willingway, please feel free to give us a call at 912-207-7227.
